The Clear Aligner Process At Our Windsor Clinic

Clear aligner treatment is typically spread over 6 to 18 months, depending on the system and the complexity of your case.

  1. Consultation. We examine your teeth, discuss your goals, and explain which aligner systems may suit your case.
  2. Scans and planning. We take digital scans of your teeth and map out a step-by-step treatment plan. You will see a preview of how your teeth are expected to move.
  3. Aligners made. Your custom aligners are manufactured and shipped to our Windsor clinic.
  4. Wearing your aligners. You will wear each set for one to two weeks, or depending on your dentist’s directions, for 20 to 22 hours per day. We schedule check-ins every 6 to 8 weeks to monitor progress.

Retainers. Once your teeth are in their final position, you’ll wear retainers to help keep them there. Without retention, teeth can shift back over time.
